LEAGUE OF WHEELMEN.
[by telegraph.— association.] Christchttrch, Monday. At a meeting of the League of Wheelmen to-night, the suspension of K. Lewis by the North Canterbury centre, was confirmed, and it was decided to acquaint the Australian leagues of the fact. The affiliation of the Karangahake Club with the Auckland centre was confirmed. On the recommendation of the Otago centre, H. G. Cameron was reinstated as an amateur. The amalgamation, of the Dannevirke Cycling Club and Caledonian Society, under the title of the Dannevirke Athletic and Cycling Club, was approved. No action was taken with regard to a protest from the Christchurch Cycling Club, against taking Good Friday and the following Saturday for the championship meeting. G. Sutherland gav.e an account of his doings in Paris as the league's representative. He said that the league would receive about £100 as its share of the profits of the World's Championship meeting
