SUICIDE AT KAITANGATA.

[BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Ddnedin, Monday. The inquest on Edward Edwards was resumed at Kaitangata this morning. Mary Jane Edwards, deceased's widow, testified that Edwards was queer. On the night previous to the occurrence he threw the bread out of the windows. She was awakened at threi a.m. by deceased cutting her throat. She awakened the children, and went tc Mr. Scurr's house for assistance. A verdict, that deceased committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor, while of unsound mind, was returned, with a rider that Mrs. Edwards deserves praise for protecting her children as she did.
