INTERPROVINCIAL CRICKET.

[BY TELEGIUPII.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. At a meeting of the Cricket Association a letter was received from the Canterbury Association stating that the Canterbury representative team could not play Wellington during Christmas. It was decided to write to Canterbury suggesting that the match be played on January 19, 21, and 22. No definite decision was arrived at regarding the Hawke's Bay match, but Easter was tentatively fixed. A letter was read from the Auckland Association suggesting January 7, 8, and 9, as the dates for the interprovincial match. These dates were considered unsuitable. It was decided to approach Auckland with the view of having them altered to December 21, 22, 24, or 22nd, 24th, and 25th..
