GUN CLUB COMPETITION.

[BT TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Friday. The Waikato Gun Chin's team shot for the cup presented by the Colonial Ammunition Company. Six Members shot 30 bird .at 15yds. The. total scor* was 116 out of a possible 180. The following are the details of the shooting : —R. McCracken 23, F. Jolly 22. S. Harker 21. R. Gwvnne 20, T. Jolly 20, H. Rowland 10: total 116. Owing to a misunderstanding, arrangements had been made to shoot to-morrow afternoon, and only late on Thursday night it was found that the competition closed today. Two of the team selected could not attend, and then places were filled by T. Jolly and Harker, both of whom shot well. Mr. George Parr, who was appointed by the association, acted as referee.
