LORD HOPETOUN.
<n —- By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Colombo, November. 27. Lord Hopetoun has sailed for Australia. He was slightly better. Sydney, November 27. Lord Hopetoun has cabled from Colombo that he should prefer to land officially on his arrival. lie trusts that the functions through the streets will not be too long. He much regretted that Lady Hopetoun is laid up with fever, and that she will be unable to leave for a fortnight. Lord Hopetoun's desire that the official landing should take place on his arrival, instead of January 1, has considerably upset arrangements.
