HIS HEALTH IMPROVING. A NATAL REPRESENTATIVE. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. Colombo, November 26. Lord Hopetoun has arrived here. He was carried ashore, and is the guest of Sir West-ridge Way, Governor of Ceylon, during his stay. Ser-geon-Major Philson states that Lord Hopetoun's condition was serious when he left Bombay, but the voyage has improved him, though he is still weak. Bombay, November 25. The steamer Dalhousie has left Bombay for Sydney with the Indian contingent for the Commonwealth inauguration. Durban, November 26. The Natal Government will send a Minister to Sydney to represent Natal at the Commonwealth celebrations. Sydney, November 26. Mr. Lyne lias received a cable confirming the statement that a Natal Minister will attend the celebration. THE NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. There will be 12 Wellington representatives in the Commonwealth contingent, instead of 11 as previously proposed. Lieutenant N. I. Markliam, of the Newtown Rifles, has been appointed -officer to Colonel Pole-Penton in the contingent of mounted infantry to represent New Zealand- nt the celebrations. Lieutenant Markham leaves for Wellington on Wednesday or Thursday. It is understood that the Auckland members of the New Zealand Contingent will be Sergeant-Major Ferguson, Corporal Salmon, Bugler Robinson, Privates Lisk, Rollett. Anderson. Garland, Nickle, Burke, Edwards, and Pretty. The above have been selected from the Auckland. Piako, and Nos. 1 and 3 Waikato Mounted Rifles.-*
