PERSONAL ITEMS.

Miss Duxnet was a passenger to Sydney by the Zealandia yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. R. Hellaby were passengers to Sydney by the Westralia yesterday. Mr. McCutcheon, of Messrs. T. and S. Morrta (Limited), left foi Sydney yesterday by the Zealandia, en route for Europe. Mr. J. H. Morrison, the well-known manager of the Mosgiel Woollen Factory, is at present on a flying visit to Auckland from Dunedin. He was an old Aucklilnder in "the sixties."

Our Wiiihi correspondent telegraphs : — The social arranged in honom of the Rev. Joseph Campbell, which was to have taken place at Tanner's ball on Saturday night, and at which a presentation was to have been made to Mr. Campbell, as a slight recognition of his services to the .Anglican community, was postponed because Mr. Campbell was unable to be present.
