Lyne has received the following cable message from the Governor of Hongkong ; — Bishop Hoarc informs me 'of the safety of all 'Australian missions, including ithe-Foochow missionaries!." ;" •■'■>
Melbourne, July 23. The secretary of the Missionary Society has received tho following message from Foochow: —" All quiet. Missionaries have no apprehension." THE CHURCHES AND THE MASSACRE. Sydney, July 23, Special reference, to the Pekin massacres was made in various churches throughout the colonies yesterday.
