THE QUEEN'S PRIZE.

London, July 22. At the National Rifle Association meeting the Queen's Prize was won by Volunteei Ward, of Devonshire, with a score of 341.
The total value of money prizes in this competition amounts to £24-20, of which £250 is given by Her Majesty the Queen, whilo the competition is restricted to efficient volunteers and retired volunteers. Of tho 500 highest scorers in the first stage (distances 200 yds, 500yde, and 600 yds, seven shots at each), only 300 are eligible to shoot in tho second stage (distances 500 yds and 600 yds, 10 shot at 5003'ds, and 15 shots at 600 yds, added to scoro in first stage). Of the remaining 200 winners in the first stage, 100 receive £2 each, and 100 £1 each. A gold medal, badgo, and the £250 given by Her Majesty the Queon, goes to the winner.
