At a meeting of the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society last week the chairman (Mr. J. N. Williams) claimed that ' the Rabbit Board and its officers had done and were doing all in their power to abate the rabbit nuisance, notwithstanding the aspersions cast upon them and the strenuous opposition of persons from whom they had I a right to expect assistance.
