ESQUIMAUX DOGS.

[BY TELF.GBAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] • Wellington, Monday. ; About 80 Esquimaux dogs have been brought to New Zealand by the manager of the Antarctic expedition. Of course, they had to. be quarantined; or destroyed. .These dogs, are very valuable, and may be used in soma, future enterprises. Mr. Ward says there is a small island near Stewart's Island - called " Native Island." The dogs are to' be taken to this island, where they will be practically isolated. ■
