' . Disorderly Conduct: For this offence, Thos.' ' 1 McGarry, Percy " Smith, and Thomas Kennedy, were each fined £2, or 14 days' hard labour in default. • Theft: Harry Poulson and Henry Joseph ' McKeown wero convioted of stealing a bottlo of whisky, value 6s,- the property of Louisa ; Hertz, of the New Lynn Hotel, and were' sentenoed to ono month's hard labour. ' U ■ . 'Remanded: Herbert Leigh, charged with assaulting his father, John Leigh, by striking him with a sheath-knife, was remanded till April 20, bail being allowed in two sureties of £25 each. George Mills, on a charge of obtaining a sum of 10s from F. C. Mann .by means of a false pretence ; was remanded till Wednesday next, bail in two sureties > of £20 each. ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT. At the Onehunga Police Court on Saturday, before Dr. W. R. Close-Erson, J.P., James Donaghy was brought up on remand and charged with shooting at James Brennan on Sunday, March 4 last, with intent to kill. On -Jhe application of Sergeant Greene, he was again remanded foi eight clear ihys. Brennan not having sufficiently recovered to enable him to givo evidence.
