ANGLICAN CHURCH MEETING.
CAMBRIDGE. The animal meeting of St. Andrew's Church, Cambridge, was held on Thursday evening, there being a good attendance of parishioners. Archdeacon Willis presided, The report and balance-sheet were submitted, showing a most satisfactory state of affairs. Votes of thanks were accorded to all those who had assisted in church work during tho period just completed. A motion of thanks was also tendered to Dr. Hooper for his promise of assistance at the . church. service during the absenco of Archdeacon Willis in the Old Country. A presentation of a cheque for £25, on behalf of the members of the congregation, was made by Mr. T. Wells, Archdeacon Willis returned thanks. Mr. E. Hewitt was appointed minister's churchwarden, and Mr. T. Wells parishioners' churchwarden. The following vestrymen were appointed:— J. Adams, W. F. Buck-land, C. W. Cave, B. C. Dyer, T. Hicks, Potts, C. Boyce, J. H. Edwards, W. lloskrngc, and W. G. Park. Messrs. Melville and McCrea were reappointed auditors. It was decided to hold parish meetings in future.
