PERSONAL ITEMS.

Dr. and Mrs. McDowell were passengers from New Plymouth by the Mapourika yesterday. Another eld identity has passed away in tho person of Mrs. J. R. Crew, who died at Ruatangata, Whangarei, on the 16th inst. , at the rips age of 74. Deceased arrived with her parents at Wellington in the ship Duke of Roxburgh, in 1840. After a short stay there they came on to Auckland.
