Shortly after passing his examination he was admitted as partner in a firm, now styled Dnmbleton and Anderson, who tire doing a large business in Vancouver. A quiet wedding was celebrated in OneInmpa on Wednesday last, when Mr Cyril Byles, clerk to Messrs. Hellaby Brotheis was married to Miss Mercy Vaile, daughter of Mr. Win. Vaile. of Mangapai, and niece of Mr. Samuel Vaile, of Auckland. The bndo wore a handsome blue dress, trimmed j with white satin and cream lace, and also I wore a bracelet, the gift of Mrs. G. J. I Jackson, in connection with whose business I she has been favourably known for some ; years. The ceremony was performed at I Mrs. Jackson's residence by the Rev. R. j Wylie, but owing to the recent death of , Mr. Jackson, only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. Miss E. Neilson was bridesmaid, and Mr. Daniel Neilson acted as best man. Tho bridegroom's gift to the bride was a beautiful gold brooch, set with precious stones. After the ceremony the happy couple left for the North Shore to spend their honeymoon.
