ENTERTAINMENTS AND MEETINGS.
POLLARD'S OPERA COMPANY. "Gikofle Gibofla" was repeated by Pollard's Opera Company last evening for the last limo, the piece going brightly and smoothly throughout. To-night " In. Town" will occupy the boards, and this favourite musical comedy will no doubt attract a large attendance. Additional interest will be afforded by the fact that Miss Jenny Opie, an Australian actress who has recently joined the company, will appear in the role of the Duchess, while Miss May Beatty takes her sister's part as Lord Clanside. "In Town" will run for two nights only, and will bring the Pollard season to a close. THE GAIETY COMPANY. The Gaiety Company gave another attractive performance at the Qity Hall last evening. The Sisters Lingard, Miss Lottie Lome, and Messrs. Frank Yorke,. Fred. Leslie, jun., Albert McKisson, Arthur Albert, and the several other members of the combination were rewarded with vociferous recalls, and are evidently enjoying a large share of popular favour. To-night a complete change of bill is announced, and a novel and entertaining performance may be expected. TEMPERANCE MEETING AT PARNELL.
