GISBOBNE, November 24.— barquentine River Hunter arrived from Newcastle to-day. Captain Nilsson reports that the vessel left Newcastle on the 6th inst., and had light variable winds until the 16th. when a heavy easterly gale, with very heavy sea, was encountered. One sea which came on board smashed one of the boats and did some other damage. The gale lasted for three days.
