Length of road from Helensville to Port Albert is 40 miles; 26 miles in Rodney County, 14 miles iii Waiteiw;i , Author i t y was given the Rodney Council to spend these three grants, amounting to £450. Of this sum £50 was handed to the Waitemata Council to spend. Two grants, Noa. 164 and 165, £300, intended for Waitemata and Rodnoy. Nothing verv generous about Rodney Council's action.
