ACCIDENT IN THE HAURAKI MINE.

[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Cohomandel, Tuesday. An accident happened this morning to ft miner named James Blackmore. whilst stoping m the Hauraki mine. He was in tho act of placing a torn in so as to secure the ground, when a sudden fall of rock fell upon him. His working mate at once released him front his perilous position. He was brought to the surface suffering great pain, and was conveyed to the hospital on a stretcher. The body and thigh are bruised considerably. The wounds, though serious, are not considered dangerous.
