The secretary of tho Auckland Provincial Electoral Committee has received a telegram from Captain Russell, that ho will deliver an address to the citizens of Auckland on Tuesday next, tho 16th inst. He proposes also visiting Cambridge on the 17th, and the Thames on tho 18th, [by telegraph,— association.] Hawera, Monday. • Captain Russell began a series of meetings in Taranaki by addressing the public of Hawera on Saturday. He spoko for two hours, mainly on the lines of his Hastings address, and reeoived a vole of thanks from a largo audience.
