OTAGO CENTRAL RAILWAY.
[hi TELEGEAPn.—PRESS association.] Donedin, Monday. Ma. Hallenstein, at a meeting of the Otago Central Railway League, gave notice of motion that owing to the general impetus which has of late been given to gold mining by the new process of dredging, and consequently to all other industries in Central Otago, the raiiway to Clyde and Cromwell, and ultimately to Lake Wanaka, should now be completed as speedily as possible. To do so, the Government should be requested to get the sanction of Parliament for a special loan, to be devoted to the special undertaking and no othei.
