The Hon. E. Mitcbelson is at pesent in the South on business.
Mr. 11. A. Gordon returned from Wellington on Saturday by the Eotoiti. Mr. L. K. Gaunt was a passenger to Lyttelton by the Te Anau on Saturday. Messrs. W. J. Napier and H. Campbell returned from Wellington on Saturday by the Eotoiti. The Right Rey. the Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Wallis) arrived from Wellington by the Eotoiti on Saturday morning. Captain J. Mun'n, late chief officer of the Silver Cloud, leaves for Sydney by the Tarawera to-day to take charge 'of 'the barque Tathain.
