INDIGNATION MEETING AT FEILDING.
[BI TELEGIUrH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Feilding, Saturday. OSB of the largest and most representative meetings over held in Feilding was held last evening to txpress indignation at the apathy shown by tho authorities in not providing a post and telegraph office suitable for tho requirements of tho extensivo and important business done at this office, at the totally inadequate accommodation at the railway station in respect of a goods shed and cattlo yards, and for neglect in not commencing to reconstruct the Feilding school, which was destroyed by fire five months ago. Leading business mon and settlers took part in the discussion, and resolutions were passed urging tho authorities to provide accommodation as indioated. The meeting which was of a non-political nature, adjourned for a month, it being intended to hold indignation meetings from month to month until tho matters are attended to. A strong representative committee was appointed to carry out the j resolutions.
