AOCKLAXDER.-A three-year-old fill.v (Busy bodv) was sold for 8800 guineas in England at the break-up of tile late Lord Falmouth Btud. TOTE.— The dividend paid on Louie when she won the Napier Handicap in 1882 was £259; that on Kalo, when he won the Shorts Handicap at Auckland in 1885. £251 14s. 2. St. Leger was sold at the disposal of the Sylvia Park Stud in 1891 for 300 guineas He has ever since been stationed at Wellington Park. It may be stated, however, that the horse subsequently stood for a couple of seasons in the Wanganui district.
OClfiASSlElt.— a two-year-old Explosion ran twice unsuccessfully. At three yer.rs old he has won Auckland Guineas and Wellington Racing Club Handicap. If the wager is that Mr. Nathan's colt only once ran unplaced at three years old, then " A" loses, as the son of Cuirassier finished outside of a place in the Stewards' Handicap run on the second day of the A.R.C. Spring Meeting.
