MADAME PATTI MARRIED.
By Telegraph.-Press Assooiation.-Copyr!Sht. London, January 25. The marriage of Baron Cederstrom! and Madama Patti was celebrated tot day. The Patti-Cederstrom wedding breakfast was held on board a railway train at Paddingtun. There were great rejoicings at Brecon, in Wales. Sir George Faudel-Phillips, late Lord Mayor of London, gave Madame Pattiiaway. The announcement about a month ago of Madame Patti's engagement to Baron Rolf Ccderstrom is said to have given universal satisfaction to her friends, though tha Bairn, who is a Swedish nobleman, is much vcLnger than Madame Patti. He was born 'in 1870, and Madame Patti in 1843, so the husband is only 29 years old, while the wife is 56. Baron Rolf Cederstrom, who is the eldest son of Baron Edward Cederstrom, of Stockholm, is tall, handsome, and very fair. In Sweden, as in most Continental countries, engagements are advertised in the papers in the same manner as births, marriages, and deaths, and the. Stockholm papers contained an advertisement of Madame Patti's betrothal, as. follows:—

It appears that Baron Rolf Cederstrom visited Stockholm some time ago, and received the consent of his parents to the marriage. Madame Patti has never yet visited Sweden, but it is believed that a part of the honeymoon will be spent there. This is her third venture in matrimony. Her firsb husband was the Marquis de Caux, an elderly French nobleman, whom she married in 1868, and her second the Italian tenor Nicolmi, married in 1886. Madame Patti was born at Madrid. She was prepared with great care by Maurice Strakosch for the operatic stage, on which she first appeared at New York in 1859. Her "Amina," at Covent Garden, in 1861, brought her first into real fame, and since then she has sung almost all over the world, always achieving supreme success. The late Czar conferred upon her in 1870 the Order of Merit, and appointed her first singer of the Imperial Court.
