THE ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP.

The crew from the Star Boating Club (Wellington) to competo at the championship meeting on Saturday next will arrive at Onehunga by the s.s. Takapuna this morning, and will bo mot by some of the officials of the Northern Rowing Union, and accorded a heartv welcome. Mr. John Marshall, president of the Northern Rowing Union, has invited tho visiting oarsmen to a cruise round - the hnrhem and vicinity this afternoon, and ■ during the time they are away it is intended to visit the various courses laid off.
