Bbhli.v, January 24. It has transpired that Dr. Rnffel had resigned his position in Samoa prior to the dispute. Dr. Solf, the judge at Dareealem, in German East Africa, succeeds him.

The Standard's Berlin correspondent states that, the Sanioan difficulty has been settled on the basis of the maintenance of the Convention.
