A SMART RESCUE.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] jPort Chalmers, Sunday Tim ship Canterbury arrived from London last night. On October 19 Ralph Dodswoith, an apprentice, fell overboard. The ship was going 10 knots at the time. Captain Collingwood immediately hove her to, and lowered a boat, with the second mate an I a crew of five hands, who picked up the lad and two lifebuoys, which were thrown to his aid, and brought him safely on board in half an hour.
