THE WATKATO milk SUPPLIERS. Mil. Pi. R. llt'N'T has sent tho following letter to Mr. Spragg:Auckland, November 14, 1898. Wesley Spragg, Esq., Now Zealand Dairy Association, Auckland: Dear Sir, —We observe from your published circular dated November 10. that you are about to proceod to Waikato " in order to afford suppliers an opportunity to inako inquiries, etc." and you further state that "I will seo that no one suffers because of loyalty shown to us." On conferring with the executive of the Milk Suppliers' Union at present in town, they agree with me that we do not know exactly what this means, but they wish me to state that no one shall suffer because of loyalty to you; on the contrary, the suppliers will all lie benefited by co-operating with us, and we now wish to inform you that if the proposed co-operative company purchase your AVaikato butter business, goodwill, etc.. they will do so only 011 tho express condition that you and your partner bind yourselves not to have anything to do with the butter business during five years, in any wav whatever, south of Mercer.— are, etc., R. It. Hunt and Co.
