Impulse (a New Zealand Cup winner), Woodstock (winner of Napier Park Cup), Town Moor, Clanranald, St. Innis, Hippomenes, St. Laura, St. Ursula, Sex, Sylvia Park. Acone, St. Andrew, Kegel, Bradford, Prestige. Nestor (an Auckland Cup and Derby winner), Lady Anna. St. Hegel. Galant, Okoari, Blue Jacket, Marquis of Tewkesbury, St. Simon (winner of the North New Zealand Grand National Hurdle l\ace with 12st 121b in the saddle), and many others. Terms: 50 guineas for single mares; 40 guineas, two or more mares belonging to the Bamo owner. HOTCHKISS (second winner-producing Sirt in New Zealand for the past two years), got by Musket from Petroleuse (imp.), by Oxford from Hartshorn, by Mountain Deer from Area, by Gladiator from Twilight, by Velocipede from Miss Garforth, by Walton, it is agreed on all sides that Hotchkiss is the best Musket sire left in Australasia. He is sire of the champion Multiform, who heads the lis! of winning horses for the past 1897-98 season: also of Uniform (the last Wellington Cup winner). Swordfish (who annexed the WangaI nui Cup of 1898), the great Australian weightcarrier, True Blue, the brilliant Forma, Oscillator, that good mare Waiorongomai, Merrj Maid, Lady Harriett, and numerous others. CASTOR (imp.), by Zealot (son of tin famous sire Hermit, winner of the Derby. 1867) out of Lady Yardley, by the great Stirl- j ing (sire of Isonomy, from Leda. by Weather bit). Castor was a great performer at all weights and distances, winning 22 races out ol 28 starts. He is a half-brother to Disraeli winner of this year's Two Thousand Gurnet"During the past season Castor's winnings were considerably in advance of any previous season. His progeny won 20 races of the value of £4694. He is sire of the Auckland Cup win ner Antares, the speedy Eton, Coronet (Tulsapuna Cup winner of 1898), Daystar, Porantn Potae, Castashore, Altair (winner of the C.J.C. Champagne Stakes), the brilliant Sydneyowned Cravat, Dayntree. Armilla (winner oi the Canterbury Oaks), Casket (a Dtinedin Cup winner). Orion's Belt, Tauhei, and others.
