THE AUCKLAND BOWLING ASSOCIATION.

Jhe annual meeting of the Auckland Bowling Association was held in the Fire Insurance Association room, Victoria Arcade, yesterday sflernoon, Mr. A. S. Russell presiding. Six clubs were represented, viz., Auckland, Ponsonby, Newmarket, Eemuera, Mount Edeu, and Parnell. The lion, secretary (M". J. Blades) read the report and balance-sheet for the last year. Lambert (Auckland), Russell (Ponsonby), Holden (R-Jir.uera), Haselden (Parnell), Laurie (Newmarket), Brooks (Mount Eden), and Eagleton (Devonport). It was resolved that the pennant flag contests be limited to three days, the dates to bo arranged by the Match Committeo, with power to extend same if found necessary. It was decided to reinstate the champion fours match. aEcli club shall select a ohampion team, which is to be played in connection with the ponnant flag; matches, and under the Northern Bowling Association's tournament rules.
