WAIRARAPA AGRICULTURAL SHOW.

Wellington, Thursday. The annual show of the Wairarapa Agricultural and Pastoral Association opened to-day at Carterton. The entries showed an increase as compared with last year. Championships wero awarded as followCurebred shorthorn bull, McHordy Brothers, The Governor: grade shorthorn hull, W. 0. Buchanan, Brunswick Duke. In pure-brad Ayrshires, S. V. Burridße is the only exhibitor, and is awarded both championships. Jersey or Aldernoy bull, H. W. Clay; cow. P. C. Anderson. Sheep : Lincolns, lorry Brothers, both for ram and owe; Southdown, J. Stuckey, for both ram and owe; Shropshire Downs, Williams and Beetiliam, for both yam and ewe; Romnoy Marsh, ram, Matthews; ewe, W. B. Allen.
