At a meeting of tho Wellington Rugby Union to-night a circular was read from tho New Zealand Rugby Union with regard io the proposed visit of an English team next season, and it was decided that the Wellington Union was prepared to allow tew Zealand Union the not proceeds (up to £lo0) of the mntoh between Wellington and the English team. It was resolved to appeal to tho English Union against tho decision of tlie Anneal Council of the New Zealand Union with Kgrrd to the appeal of the Wd ingtpn Union in the recent Canterbury-Wellington natch.
