THE TOKATOKA SWAMP.
Sir,—l see by your paper that an application has been made to Wellington for a vote for money to open more land on the Tokatoka Swamp. I was Informed some ivceks ago that an inquiry would take place regarding the amount of money already spent on this land. If my information is correct, which I do not doubt, some remarkable revelations would lake place in accounting for the £10,000 already spent on the swamp.—l ;,m, etc., A Settler on the Land.
