AFFECTED WITH RHEUMATISM AT THE AGE OF 80. HE IS NOW THOROUGHLY CURED AND FREE FROM PAIN. When a gentleman has reached the age of i 80 years and is then attacked by acute rheumatism so severely that at times ho is only able to get out of bed with the utmost difficulty, the case would, to most people, seem insurable, and so the gentleman himself thought. But a course of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Palo People has thoroughly changed his ideas. Last September twelve months, Mr. David Robertson, of Byron-street,' Kew, Victoria, who is over 80 years of age, was attacked most virulently by rheumatism, first in the right knee, next in the loft hip, and then in the shoulders, wrists, hands, knees, and legs. He was rendered entirely helpless. Every friend ho had recommended different remedies in turn—sulphur, kerosene, outwardly and inwardly, citrio aoid, marsh mallow, fomentations, hot sea baths, several bottles of a largely-advertised cure for rheumatism, and other articles were all tried without the slightest benefit accruing. Ultimately, Mr. Robinson caino to the conclusion that his ailment was incurable. A little while later, however, a friend induced him to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. He followed the directions carefully, and patiently. In about three weeks or a month after first taking them ho noticed a considerable improvement in ilia condition; lie had then taken two boxes. He persevered with the romedy, and, little by little, his ailment gavo him less and less trouble. He continued in this manner until lie had taken about 10 or 11 boxes, the time occupied being from six to sovon months.
