The s.a. Pnreorn, Captain J. Christiati, arrived from Greymouth early on Saturday morning, with a cargo of coal for the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, the steamer proceeding up to Chelsea to discharge. Air. Brown, the chief officer, reports that the steamer left Grevmouth nn Wednesday night last, passed Cape Maria Van Dieman at 4.40 a.m. on Friday, and arrived as above, experiencing fine weather throughout the trip. The Pareora leaves for Greymouth tomorrow afternoon. , .. . Early yesterday morning the Northern Company's steamer Clansman arrived from Tauranga. She leaves this evening for Russell, Whangaroa, and Mangonui. The Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Whangarei yesterday morning, and leaves for the same place again tonight. „ , ~ ~ Yesterday afternoon the Northern Company's steamer Waiotahi arrived from Tauranga and Opotiki with a number of passengers and a cargo of maize, etc. The Northern Company's steamer lona arrived yesterday morning from Mercury Bay, Kuaotnnu and Kennedy's Bay, and leaves for the same places again to-night. Yesterday afternoon the schooner Queen arrived from Hokianga with a cargo of timber, kauri gum, etc. The Northern Company's steamer Waitangi arrived on Saturday morning from Tauranga, Tairua, Whatiganmta, Mercury Bay, aud Ituaotunu. On Saturday afternoon the Tyser Liner Hawkes Kay left for Gisborne. The Union Company's steamer Manapouri left on Saturday afternoon for East Coast and Southern ports. On Saturday afternoon the Northern Company's steamer Chelmsford left for Whakatane.

The Northern Company's steamer Douglas left for Whangarei on Saturday afternoon. To day the schooner May Howard commences loading sulphur ore for Sydney. This evening the auxiliary schooner Medora leaves for Whangaroa, Ohora, and Awanui.

The schooner Gisborne sails to-day for Mercury Bay, to complete hor loading of timber for Sydney. On Saturday the barquentine May arrived at the Kaipara, from the Thames, to load timber for Sydney. Transhipments ex s.s. Tokomaru, from London, arrived Irom the South by the Westralia yesterday. To-day the Union Company's steamer Omapere arrives from Wellington and the East Coast, and leaves for the same ports again tomorrow evening. The Northern Company's steamer Ngunguru leaves on her usual monthly trip to the North to-morrow. THE WESTRALIA. The HuddartParker steamer Westralia, Captain Percy W, Bull, arrived from Southern and East Coast ports at 10 a.m. yesterday, with a number of passengers and considerable general cargo. Mr. N. Carless, the purser, reports The Westralia left Dunedin on the Ist instant,, Lyttelton on the 2nd, Wellington on the 3rd, Napier on the 4th, and Gisborne on the sth at 11.30 a.m. ; rounded the East Cape at 5,10 p.m. tho same date, and arrived as above, Experienced variable winds and moderate weather throughout tho trip. A concert was held on the night of the sth instant in aid of the Shipwreck Relief Society of New South Wales, and the sum of £3 2s 3d was collected for this deserving institution, Mr. M. Lewis acting as chiirman. The Westralia has on board 16 head of cattle, which are in splendid condition. The steamer leaves for Sydney at 5.30 p.m. to day. THE OVALAU. The following is the report of tho Union Company's steamer Ovolau from Sydney and the Islands, the arrival of which vessel was I reported in the Herald of Saturday last ;— i The Ovalau left the Company's Wharf, Sydney, at 11 p.m. on February 0, had Hunter's Island abeam at 12.30 a.m. on the 16th, and arrived inside Suva harbour at 030 a.m. on the 18th. Left for Levuka at midnight, and arrived at 7 a.m. on the 19th. Left at 11.45 the same day for Ba, anchored for the night off Vatia point, aud proceeded the next morning at daylight, and arrived at the anchorage at G. 15 a.m. Discharged horses and general cargo, and returned to Levuka, finally leaving that port at 845 p.m. on tho 20th. Cicia was passed at 11.30 a.m. on the 21st, Nuifoou at 1.45 p.m. on the 22nd, and arrived at Apia at 3.30 p.m. on the23rd. Left for Vavan at 5.12 p.m. on the 24th, arriving at that port at 2,40 A.m. on the 26th. Took tier departure thence at 8.45 a. m. Called at Haapai, and arrived alongside the wharf, Nukualofa, at 7.10 a.m. on the 27th discharged 150 tons copra into the barque Korsvei and took in a cargo of bananas aud left for Auckland at G p.m. on the 28th. Had Molcobinau abeam at 8.30 p.m. on the 4lh inst., and arrived in port at 3 a.m. on the sth. Experienced light, variable winds with fine weather throughout, the trip. The Ovalau proceeds to Port Chalmers to-morrow for general overhaul and alteration. THE EMPREZA. The barque Emprezi, which sailed from Newcastle for this port on February 8, passed Capo Maria Vau Dieman on Friday evening aud should make port to-day. THE ELINGAXIITE.. The HuddartParker steamer Elingamite, from Sydney, should arrive early this morning. The steamer proceeds to East Coast and Southern ports to-morrow afternoon. THE CAPE OTWAY. The steamer Cape Otway left Sydney for Auckland on Saturday, en route for Vancouver, with over 100 passengers for Klnndyke. The steamer is expected to arrive at this port on Thursday next, and leaves on Friday for Suva and Vancouver. The Union S.S, Co, arc agents for the steamer. TONGAN SHIPPING. The Union Company's steamer Taviuni had a very good passage from Auckland to Nukualofa, arriving there on February 14, a day before time. She left the following day for Samoa, Fiji, and Sydney. Tho barque Hertha loaded with copra by tho Gorman firm sailed Irom Nukualofa for Ponto Delgado, Western Islands, for orders on January 30. On February 1 the barque Passat sailed from Nukualofa for Ponto Delgado, Western Islands, for orders, with a cargo of copra shipped by Messrs. Vines, Utting, and Perston. The Norwegian barque Korsvei arrived at Nukualofa from Napier on February 6, and was loading copra for Europe for Messrs. Vines, fitting, and Perston when tho Ovalau left. PORT OF ONEHUNGA. ARRIVALS.
