The city flagstaff, Municipal Buildings, lneroantile establishments, and the shipping in pork were bedecked with bunting. On every hand the pleasure-loving public thoroughly enjoyed ihdfflielVes. A number of families, for quiet rest and enjoyment, betook themselves to the pubiic parks and tho domain, from Whence the harbour could be seen, and the various steamers, yachts, and other vessels flitting co and fro, forming a scene of life and animation pleasing in theexfcrome.
