Fiets Association.—Electric Telegraph— A MANSLAUGHTER CASE. Perth, December 16. O'Brien, who killed his wife, was found guilty of manslaughter, and sentenced to Seven years' imprisonment. The defence was that lie quarrelled with hie wife and struck her, unintentionally killing the woman, and, being frightened, cut up the body, intending to bury it. ANNUITY FOR SIR GRAHAM BERRY. Platt-Betts, tho cyclist, covered the half-mile in 47 seconds, a world's record. The first quarter occupied 23 2-5 seconds, which beats his own record.
