AMATEUR ATHLETIC AND CYCLE CLUB.
TEAM FOR CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.
At a meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Clutyheld last evening, the following members were chosen to represent Auckland at the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association's Championship ' Meeting to be held JtWanganui on February 10th and lltli: — 100yds,.(J. Smith; 250 yds, R. Oliphant; H. G. Thomson; half-mile, J. McK.ean; one mile, A. B. George; three miles, A. W. Bell; one aud three mile walks, F. H. V/n a j ncr a"d D. Wilson; 120 yds hurdles and «ojds hurdles, W, H. Martin; high jump, K Laurie: pole jump, Hori Eruera; throwing 161b hammer, J. W. Skinner; putting 161b weight, W.H. Madill; bicycle events, H. A. Dexter. It was decided that any member of the club may challenge any of those selected for the' right of inclusion in the. team, the challenge to be made to the secretary on or before December 31, when a test race will f be arranged for a subsequent date.
