[»T HLMRAtH.-- ASSOCIATION.] Invercar(iua, Wednesday. John O'Connkll, a married man, an insurance . canvasser, was charged at tho Police Court to-day with breaking and entering the premises of Alex. Ferguson, watchmaker, on the 28th March, and stealing therefrom jewellery to the valoe of £54 lis; also with breaking and entering Samuel Levy's premises and stealing goods to the value of £2 2s. Both offences were alleged to have been committed early on a Sunday morning, the shop windows having been broken, apparently with a hammer. The matter remained a. mystery till a few days ago, when Detective Mcllveney and a constable got a clue, with the resulb that the whole of the stolen property was recovorod, Accused was remanded till Saturday. ,
