Whlungton, Wednesday, •Mr. 0. E. Zoiikab, merchant, an old resident of Wellington, died of apoplexy this morning.
Mr. F. Angell, a well-known long distance runner, who has represented Wellington at athletic championship meetings, died yes* terday of typhoid fever. (Jhkistohuroh, Wednesday. A girl of eight years, the daughter of Mr. Walter l.'odlin, of St. Albans, died suddenly this morning. The came is unknown. Invkhoakgill, Wednesday. On Monday a boy named Harker fell in front of a meat trolly on the tramway between the slaughterhouses and the fieezar lib Mataura, the wheels pawing over both feet. He was brought to the Southland Hospital, where he died to-day, chiefly from shock to his system, He was only eight years old, and was trying to get a ride on the waggon when he fell.
