The peculiar circumstances of the case have ';., caused it to receive unusual attention; .';.. Hodgotts, who came from London four i years ago, settled on a farm at Somerville, |- where he was joined in 1895 by hie wife and f,' children. Hodgette employed the young W tain Claweon, but discharged him be--v cause of a theft, and- also refused to pay \ ■ him some money which was due. Glawson, accordingly, determined on revenge.
