Professor Brown, of the Auckland University, takoe "The History of Matches," and the Rev. H. D. A. Major, M.A., deals with a topic which should interest) Aupklanders, " What we owe to Volcanic Forces," and Mr, G. AI. Reed, B.A. takes as hjs theme, "The Benevolence and Malignity manifested in the Healm of Nature." The Rev. Joseph Clark, the new minister of the Tabernacle, ie also down for a lecture, the subject) of which is nob yet given.. There are three concerts in the course, to diversify it), tendered respectively by the Rev. A. Mitchell, Professor Schmltb, and Mr. J, H. Fhilpott.
