A SERIOUS CHARGE.
ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO MURDER AN INFANT. [it telegraph.—press association,] Napier, Wednesday. A young man, yarned Walter Findlay, manager of Salik'a pawubroking shop, was arrested last evening on a charge of attempting to murder an infant cliild, by administering verdigris. Accused was brought before the Court this morning, and remanded, being admitted to bail, himself in £200, and two sureties of £200 each.
