PROFESSOR BRISTOL'S EQUESCURRICULUM.

On Saturday evening, the occasion of the opening performance of Professor Bristol's educated horses, the Opera House was well filled in all parts, yet this bore do comparison to last night's attendance, the building then being crowded to excess, standing room being barely available in the upper portion of the house, and certainly not in the other parts. If possible, tbe performance was even more successful than wag the case on the opening night, the " scholars" having now evidently bad ample time to adapt themselves to their altered circumstances, after their lengthy sea voyage and stay at the quarantine island, and from the rise to the fall of the curtain those present were loud in their praises of the unique and wonderful entertainment provided. The programme was a repetition of that of tbe opening night, and the mule Denver, who supplies the bulk of what may be aptly termed the comedy element, was again the most conspicuous figure, creating no end of amusement. Sultan, who heads tbe class in mathematics, solved tbe examples in arithmetic propounded by the Professor and members of the audience with a readiness that astonished tbe onlookers, and with surprising accuracy, leaving much room for wonderment as to bow it is done. The pony Johnny Sanborn in his swing act, Tony in bis leap from the flying trapeze to the pedestal through a paper hoop, Claude in his correction of the arithmetical error shown on the blackboard, and Dynamite in bis springboard feat, ali contributed their quota to the enjoyment of the evening. The bellrinping |by several members of the troupe, tbe laughablo sketch entitled "Mule Trade," and the military drill, which concludes the programme, were all items that will not' easily be forgotten, and certainly it may safely be said that everyone present was more than satisfied -with the entertainment provided by Professor Bristol's Educated and Model Equine School. In the afternoon a matinee for ladies and children was given, the attendance being almost as large as that of tbe evening, all being delighted with tbe show. The performance will be repeated to-night and following evenings, and matinees will be given to-morrow (Wednesday), Friday for tbe benefit of the country visitors, and on Saturday.
