[FROM Onß OWN CORRESPONDENTS.] Hamilton, Tuesday. Mb. Philip Munbo, one of the earliest of the Waikato settlers, and a member of tht 4th Waikato Militia, died on Sunday last at his late residence, Hamilton West. He leavei a large family of grown up sens and daughters to mourn their loss.
The case of the Waikato Hospital Board t; the Auckland Board, which was set down for hearing at the Magistrate's Court here on the Sth inet. has been withdrawn, the defendants having agreed to pay the amount claimed, £70 and coats. The claim wu for treatment ol a boy named Conway, belonging to the Auckland district, bat who had been treated in the Waikato Hospital. Te Awamoiu, Tuesday. The creamery has now closed down for th« winter months, but a good supply of milk was maintained up to the last. The total amonnt received during April was 20,a)0 gallons. During the season of eight months a total of 188,000 gallons of milk has been received at the factory. This is an increue of nearly 63,000 gallons over th* amount received during the previous season.
