' [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Paeroa, Thursday. The Ohinemuri County Council met this afternoon for the purpose of considering the Paeroa-Waihi railway, but it was decided 1 that the matter should stand over until tha ordinary monthly meeting in May, in order to give Messrs. Morris and Hunt, represents* tives of the New Zealand Exploration Com* pany an opportunity of being present. The tenders'for metalling Te Puke Road were also received, but the Council decided upon the recommendation of the engineer that only spalls should be placed on the road just now, and that the top dressing of metal i be delayed until next spring.
