CLARKE.—On March 16, at his late residence. Otahuhu, Samuel Ludbrook Clarke, second son of the late Geuree Clarke, Esq., Waimate, Bay of Wand", ".Iter two years' illness, borne with exemclary patience and foititude, aged 72 years. The funeral service will take place at the Church of Unhand Cemetery to-day (Tuesday) at 3 p.m. JENKINS.—on March 4, a' Pukekohe, ihe wife of William Jenkins, aged 40. Deeply regretted. HAllinVICK.—On March 15. 1897, at .Mount Eden Auckland, New Zealand, Edmund llamshav Hardwick, of Chelsworth Hall, Suffolk, England, '^RKKCE.—On March 9, 1897, at bis resilience, King-street, Opotiki, after a long and painful illness" George iteece, aged 69 years. Deeply regretted.
