FROZEN MEAT MARKET. Napier, February 12. — Nelson Brothers received the following sable from the Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company to-day —" There is no improvement in the frozen meat market. Canterbury mutton has fallen id per lb. To-day's quotations are: Best Canterbury, 3sd; Dunedin, 2Jd; Napier and North Island, '21(1, LONDON. ' London, February 11. The wool sales closed very briskly. At to-day's sales, good merinos, greasy crossbreds especially were firm. During the series, 234,468 bales were catalogued, of which 93,000 were sold for the home trade, 83,000 for the Continent, and 45,000 for America ; 43,000 were held over. The Antwerp sales open on the 16th inst., and close on the 18th. The quantity available for sale is 8700 bales, including 400 from Australia, Later.

The Bradford wool market is slack. Christchurch, February 12. The final wool sale of the season was held this morning, about 2500 bales being offered, consisting principally of odd lots and a few station clips. Several of the latter were passed.' Considering the quality of the wool sold the prices were about on a level with the previous sale. Long wool sold up to 7<tl; crossbred and halfbred, 6d to 7Jd; merino, 5d to 6Jd; pieces, 2£d to 4-Jd; and locks, lid to 3|d.
