WESTPORT COAL COMPANY.
[By TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] DuNKDitf, Friday. Tub directors of the Westporb Coal Company, in their annual report, state that the profit for the year, after providing for bad and doubtful debta, depreciation, etc., jvas £14,331, to which has to be added £5340 from the previous year, making a total of £19,671. An interim dividend of 2J per cent, was paid for the half-year ending June. It is now proposed to pay 3J per cent, for the last half-year, making 6 per cent, for the year, and to appropriate tor Granity Creek Works £2000, leaving £5200 to be carried forward. The works at Granity Creek are now completed, and the output of coal commenced in July last. The machinery 13 working well.
